Lisbon

I went to Lisbon because I needed to remember what it felt like to be lost on purpose. No itinerary beyond 'find good coffee and don't check email.'

Sitting on a tram at sunset, watching the city turn gold, realizing I hadn't thought about work in three days.

Solo travel isn't lonely when you've spent eleven years learning to be alone in a foreign country. It's just familiar.
