Bavaria at Dawn

Munich → Garmisch → Back · BMW G 310 GS (rented)

Left Munich at 5 AM to beat traffic and catch the Alps in morning light. The fog on the autobahn was terrifying and beautiful in equal measure.

Stopped at a roadside café where the only other customer was a farmer who nodded at me like we'd been riding together for years.

A Sunday ride along the Baltic coast. Salt air, empty roads, and the particular freedom of having nowhere to be.

Parked at the beach, took off my helmet, and just sat there for twenty minutes. No content. No caption. Just wind.

Took a 'shortcut' through the Schwarzwald. GPS died. Phone died. Found a village with one bakery and the best Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte of my life.

Getting lost on a motorcycle is only scary until you realize you're exactly where you wanted to be.
