The short version
I left India in 2013 with two suitcases and unreasonable optimism. Eleven years later, I'm a German citizen who builds software for a living, rides motorcycles when the weather cooperates, and tells stories about everything that went wrong along the way.
The longer version
I didn't plan any of this. Nobody plans to fail at three businesses. Nobody plans to spend a decade learning a language well enough to argue with bureaucrats. Nobody plans to feel permanently jet-lagged between two cultures.
But here I am. And honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way — except maybe with fewer tax forms.
What Desi-Jetlag means
It's not a travel blog. The name comes from that specific feeling of living between worlds — India and Germany, home and abroad, ambition and reality, planning and wandering.
What I do
Write code for a living (5+ years in German tech). Travel solo whenever I can afford the time. Ride motorcycles and occasionally vlog about it. Tell stories about immigration, failure, and finding your place.
